5th week summary and a beautiful trip to Brighton, England

Hi Mona, and Papper and Mom...haha

Well, after last weekend full of dates w/ good ol Harry Potter I thought I might venture out and make some real friends. Haha... Lets see...what did I do this week? I went out to eat almost every day with these 3 kids in my class who are all very nice. Two of them are bf/gf's and live in New York and one is this guy from Ohio. They are all really nice. After lunch on Monday I went to explore the globe theatre for my presentation in class. It was an amazing replica of the original globe (almost as precise as the one papper and I made freshman year of high school for my english class...or shall i say papper made it?) haha But yes, the buidling was made from the exact same materials used to build the original globe. The only problem with the repica is its about 200 yards from the original site so that's kinda a bummer. On tuesday...oh what did I do on tuesday...well whatever i did probably consisted of wandering around london and maybe reading in the park. Hmm On wednesday I hung out with a friend in my sorority from home named Aly. We went to Oxford Circus, went on a long walk and got sundaes from McD's. On thursday I had my presentation on the Globe and then went shopping that afternoon. After finding some good deals *wink* I met up with my couple friend from class and we went to the Absolut Ice Bar. The place was amazing! It was ALL ice. The bar, the floor, walls, sculputures, and even our glasses. They gave us these huge silver parkas and gloves and a free drink. We were only in there for a restricted 45 mins but it was worth it and really fun. After that we just went and sat at a bar before heading back. Today I woke up and caught a train to Brighton England which is a costal town about an hour south. There I met up with my friend Kelly that I met on the plane over here and through our Butler orientation. She showed me around the town, the beach, pier, and alll over. We were worn out by the end of it! It was beautiful though. I felt like i took a step back in time to when kids rode the merry-go-round off the pier, ate ice cream and fish and chips, and went frollicin' around. I'll put the link on the bottom in a min. After a day of beaching I am now back at home in my lovely room 517 of the Wigram House. Tomorrow I'm going with my couple friends to Bath, Stonehenge, and Windsor castle. I'm pretty excited! Especially about Bath..I hear its a beautiful city! Then Sunday my friend Linda from the first session is coming back to stay with me a few days! I'm so excited to see her! She's great. Well I'll be home a week from today and 3 1/2 hours. SO CRAZY! I can't believe its been 5 weeks. I'm so glad and thankful to have such an opportunity as this. It's been amazing and I've definitly learned so much from this experience and have had many dates just with Jesus to contimplate life. He's been so faithful through it all and has held my hand in so many different places! It's been beautiful to say the least. I can't wait to see my family. Even if it is for just a day and a 1/2. I love them so much, no matter how little I say it or show it! Ok look at my pictures now~
